Hall competed against teams from Buffaload Logistics and other local firms at an event held in Ellington. Each of the teams took turns to pull a 20-tonne lorry and trailer over a distance of 20 metres, before Eddie single handily pulled the lorry himself over the same distance. The event was held in support of the Boparan Charitable Trust. More than £16,000 has been raised to support the work of the Boparan Charitable Trust, which helps disabled and disadvantaged children across the UK. Gareth Aston, from the Boparan Trust, said: We are so grateful to Buffaload Logistics, Corkers, Mick George and all the other companies, who have pulled together to make this such an amazing success. Eddie Hall became the first Briton to lift the Worlds Strongest Man trophy in more than 20 years, when defeating Hafthor Bjornsson in the grand final in Botswana last month.
