The Godmanchester-based animals charity recently took in seven 10-week-old puppies after their owner was made homeless. Three of the Springer Spaniel-American Bulldog crosses, which are in good health, have already found new homes but four are with foster carers. Each dog sent to a foster home needs its own kit including toys, leads, harnesses, balls and chews as well as bowls and coats so donations of good quality items are always needed. Deputy manager of dog welfare, Chris Bennett, told The Hunts Post: We are seeing more and more incidents of people finding themselves in financial hardship and being forced to give up their pets. INFORMATION: If you wish to donate to the puppy appeal, please drop off items at the Godmanchester Centre between 10am and 4pm. For more details about re-homing one of the puppies, call 0844 248 8181.
