A woman has suffered serious injuries in a three-vehicle crash on the A1198 near Godmanchester this afternoon.
Emergency services were called just before 12.10pm to the accident between the Wood Green animal shelter and the Graveley Way junction.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said a woman had to be cut free from her car by firefighters as she was trapped. She added the woman had suffered head, neck, hip and ankle injuries.
The woman has been taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: “We were called just before 12.10pm to the A1198 Hilton junction. The road has been closed at London Road, Godmanchester, and the Papworth roundabout. Ambulance and fire crews are there.”
