A woman had to be rescued from a boat after suffering an injury while aboard on Sunday.
The Magpas air ambulance was called at about 11am to Little Paxton following reports that a woman had been injured whilst aboard.
A spokesman for Magpas said: “Magpas doctor Richard Booker and paramedic Ollie Robinson landed in Little Paxton via the Magpas air ambulance. They were called to treat a woman who had been injured whilst out on a boat.
“The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient, a woman in her 40s, who had sustained a leg injury, and gave her advanced pain relief at the scene.
“The team worked alongside an East of England Ambulance Service paramedic crew to extricate the woman from the boat into an ambulance.”
The spokesman added that the paramedic crew took the woman to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, in Huntingdon, in a stable condition.
