Woman rescued after car leaves Hamerton bridge

A WOMAN escaped from her car without injury after it left a bridge and entered a dyke at Hamerton on Wednesday evening.
Firefighters from Huntingdon and Sawtry, including a rescue vehicle from Huntingdon attended the incident at 7.40pm in School Lane.
The woman was released from the car which was sat in three feet of water, and treated at the scene by ambulance crew.
