Woman ‘pushed to the floor’ after disturbing burglar in her home

A woman was pushed to the floor in a burglary at her home in Ramsey.

Police have launched an investigation following the incident, which took place at a property in Oswald Close, at about 7.30pm on Monday, November 7.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: “The occupant of the property was at home at the time of the offence and disturbed the offender, who has pushed her over and stolen her purse.”

The burglar was described to police as being either white or of mixed-ethnicity, approximately 6ft and aged in his 20s. He is believed to have been wearing a black hooded top.
