A WOMAN was left “very shaken” after a struggle with a man who grabbed her from behind while walking along a footpath through the Love’s Farm estate in St Neots.
The man ran off after the short struggle in the footpath which runs alongside Fox Brook, towards Cambridge Road, at 1.30pm on Sunday (September 23), during which the 20-year-old victim suffered minor injuries.
Detective Sergeant Jim Donington said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anyone matching the description.
“It is unclear what the motive may have been, however the incident has left the victim very shaken.”
The man is described as white, in his 30s, around 5ft 9in to 6ft, stocky and was wearing a black thick knitted-style hooded top.
Anyone with any information should call DS Donington on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
