The Magpas helimedix team was called at about 8.30am on Thursday to reports that a woman, in her 80s, had suffered a fall. The East of England Ambulance Service also attended the scene. A spokesman for Magpas said: The Magpas medical team assessed the woman who had sustained a serious head injury. They then gave her a general anaesthetic at the scene - providing her with A&E level care - before accompanied her by land ambulance to Addenbrookes Hospital, in Cambridge. The spokesman added that the woman was in a serious condition upon arrival at hospital.
