A woman suffered a head injury after she was thrown from a horse in Great Stukeley this afternoon (April 3).
Paramedics were sent to Green Lane at 12.26pm to treat the woman who sustained a head and back injury in the fall.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance service said: “The woman, who we believe to be in her late teens, had fallen from a horse and injured her head and her upper back. Fortunately she was wearing a helmet, which could have helped prevent her head from further injury.
“We took her to Hinchingbrooke Hospital for further treatment and assessment, but fortunately she is not believed to be in a serious condition.”
