Firefighters freed a woman after a car crashed into a ditch in Wistow yesterday evening (Thursday).
Police and the ambulance service were called to Shillow Hill at about 7.45pm, after a collision involving a red Ford Focus. One fire crew from Ramsey and one from Manea were then called at 8.14pm.
They released the woman, who is in her 30s, from the vehicle before leaving her in the care of the ambulance service. She was treated for minor injuries and taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon, for further care.
The road was closed during the rescue and fire crews returned to base by 10.05pm.
