A FEMALE casualty had to be cut free from her vehicle after a road crash in St Ives.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision, where one vehicle had gone into a ditch, on the B1090, just off the A14, at 8.10pm on Wednesday (February 13).
Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to release the woman, who was taken to hospital by paramedics, whereas the other casualty was already out when the emergency services arrived.
The two crews from St Ives returned to their stations by 9.50pm.
