A woman fell from a shire horse before being trampled on in Gamlingay.

At about 3pm yesterday (Wednesday), Magpas Helimedix doctor Nick Foster and paramedic Keir Rutherford arrived at a field near the village in an air ambulance. They assessed the patient - who had suffered lower back and pelvic injuries - before giving her pain relief alongside the East of England Ambulance Service at the scene.

The woman, who is in her 30s, was taken to Bedford Hospital in a land ambulance. She was not in a life-threatening condition.
