A woman escaped with only minor injuries after her car rolled off the road near Great Staughton this morning (Wednesday).

Police and an ambulance were called to the B645 between Great Staughton and St Neots at 8.30am to find a silver Toyota Yaris on its roof in a nearby field.

The female casualty was treated for minor injuries by paramedics but did not need to go to hospital.

Recovery units arrived at 9.36am to pick up the car.
