A WOMAN has died in a two-vehicle crash on the A428 between Cambourne and Dry Drayton.
A WOMAN has died in a two-vehicle crash on the A428 between Cambourne and Dry Drayton.
Lynda Carol Evans, 48, of Pershore Road, Hardwick suffered fatal injuries after the black Toyota MR2 she was driving collided with a blue Citroen C5.
The crash took place on the eastbound carriageway just before 7pm on Thursday (September 23).
The driver of the Citroen, a 58-year-old woman from Ipswich and her 22-year-old female passenger, both suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.

They were taken by ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
The road remained closed for an hour after the crash.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: “Officers have begun an investigation and would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or the vehicles involved just prior.”
