Woman cut free from car after crashing into tree in Huntingdonshire village

A woman had to be cut free from her car after crashing into a tree last night (Monday).

Fire crews from Ramsey were sent to the junction of Ramsey Road and Huntingdon Road, Upwood, at 9.41pm to reports of a single vehicle crash.

Firefighters administered first aid to a woman who was trapped inside the Ford Mondeo. They cut the roof off the car to free the woman.

A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said she suffered slight injuries.
