Firefighters freed a woman after a crash in Wistow this morning (Friday).

Two crews from Huntingdon and one crew from Chatteris were called at 8.58am after a collision which forced one vehicle off the road at Shillow Hill.

Using specialist cutting equipment they released the woman, who is in her 20s, and left her in the care of ambulance crews.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said that she was treated for an arm injury and was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon. He said that her injury was not serious or thought to be life-threatening.
