Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in St Neots on Sunday.
A man was found injured on the floor by a member of the public after being assaulted in Market Square between 2.45am and 3.15am.
The victim, who is in his 20s, suffered a broken nose and cheekbones and was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
Detective Constable Matthew Payne said: “We’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the attack or seen anyone in the area at the time.”
