WOMEN'S Institute members from Huntingdon and Peterborough joined 4,000 others at Cardiff International Arena for the 85th annual meeting.
The 50 women spent the day shopping, sightseeing, and ate at the Marriott Hotel.
At the start of the meeting chaired by Fay Mansell, the 4000 women sang Jerusalem and proceeded to discuss renewable energy and the health of the population with their guest speakers, chef Robert Rees and MP Hilary Benn.
Members returned that evening grateful for the meticulous planning of Freda Stevens.
