Members were taken on a trip down memory lane to the swinging 60s at their April meeting. Sue Stephenson entertained with the ritual of getting ready for a night out, starting with the rollers in the hair and ensuring a really uncomfortable night s sleep.

Members were taken on a trip down memory lane to the swinging 60s at their April meeting. Sue Stephenson entertained with the ritual of getting ready for a night out, starting with the rollers in the hair and ensuring a really uncomfortable night's sleep. This was followed by the brushing, back combing, fixing the kiss curls with tape and spraying with lacquer.

Judging from the members' comments and laughter, it was all part and parcel of growing up in that era. The evening concluded with the usual feast of refreshments.

Both the raffle and the competition of a decorated egg were won by Evelyn Gibbs, who also celebrates her birthday this month. The president, Priscilla Dawson, announced the group has 50 members registered for 2007.
