Bonfire night, firework night or Guy Fawkes night – whatever you call it, it’s sure to go off with a bang.

Here’s a reminder of the displays near where you live:

Waterside Community Leisure, Buckden Marina: 6.30pm, Friday (November 1), with hog roast and live music. Tickets, in advance, £4.50 adults, £3 children and £12 a family or £5, £4 and £16 on the gate.

Alconbury Sports and Social Club: 6pm, Friday (November 1), featuring children’s Hallowe’en fancy dress parade (6.30pm), fireworks (7.30pm), adults parade (8pm), a disco and a BBQ. Tickets on the gate, £12 families, £5 adults, £3 children and free for under fives. Cheaper in advance.

The Offords, Millennium Green: 6pm, Saturday (November 2), including hot dogs, burgers, hot chocolate and a bar. Tickets £15 a family (two adults, three children), £6 adults, £4 under 14s.

The Wilderness, Hilton: 6pm, Saturday (November 2), with hotdogs, burgers, homemade soup, hot chocolate and fireworks (7pm). Tickets £3 adults, £1 children.

Hemingford fireworks, St Ives, off London Road: 5pm, Saturday (November 2), including a bonfire, children’s funfair and bar. Free parking. Family tickets, in advance, £10, call 07784 586267. Family tickets on the gate are £16, adult tickets £5 and children’s tickets £2.

Eynesbury Rovers Football Club, St Neots: 5pm, Sunday (November 3), with a bouncy castle and rides, snack bar, barbecue and bar. Fireworks 6.30pm. Tickets £5 adults, £2 children/pensioners and £10 for a family ticket. Advance family tickets £8 from the clubhouse until November 2.

Grafham Village Hall: 6.30pm, Sunday (November 3), featuring jacket potatoes, soup, mulled wine and hot dogs. Fireworks 7.15pm. Entry £4 adults and £2 children.

Judith’s Field, London Road, Godmanchester: 6.15pm, Tuesday (November 5), with a bonfire (7pm), fairground, sweets, candy floss and mulled wine. Fireworks 7.30pm. Advance tickets £4 adults and £1.50 children from St Anne’s School, Godmanchester School, Crazy Glazy and Bellmans Bakery & Tea Rooms. On the gate, £5 adults and £2.50 children.

Midsummer Common, Cambridge: 6pm, Tuesday (November 5), including a bonfire and funfair. Fireworks 7.30pm. Entry free but ­donations encouraged.

Coneygear Park, Huntingdon: 5pm, Friday, November 8, including bonfire (6pm), fireworks (7pm), music by HCR104fm, a funfair and candyfloss. Entry to the Oxmoor Community Action Group event is free.

Kimbolton Castle: 6pm, Friday, November 8, featuring a funfair and food stalls. Fireworks 7.30pm. Tickets, on gate only, £10 for adults and children free.
