THERE’S nothing quite like bonfire night to get you ready for winter – so wrap up warm, get a hot drink in hand and enjoy one of Huntingdonshire’s fantastic fireworks displays.

Whether it’s a hog roast, your first mulled wine of the year, or a ride on the waltzers you’re after, there’s plenty to make sure your bonfire night goes with a bang.

From the free event at Coneygear Park in Huntingdon, to the largest bonfire in the area at Hemingford Grey and one of Europe’s biggest firework displays at Kimbolton, you’ll find something to suit your tastes in the district this Guy Fawkes’ night.

GRAFHAM

THE sky over Grafham will be lit up with a bonfire and firework extravaganza on Saturday.

INFORMATION: The event takes place at Grafham village hall and kicks off from 6.30pm with hot dogs, jacket potatoes and cheese, soup and mulled wine.

Display starts at 7.15pm and organisers are keen for people to deliver organic, combustible materials to the village hall bonfire site by 4pm on the Saturday.

Tickets �4 adults and �2 children.

KIMBOLTON

The Kimbolton fireworks and laser spectacular is one of Europe’s biggest displays, and this year the event features a fun fair, bar, and hog roast, with Heart FM’s Stuart and Natalie presenting.

GODMANCHESTER

Godmanchester’s annual bonfire night celebration at Judith’s Field offers a fair, food and sweet stalls and an incredible firework display.

INFORMATION: Saturday November 5 from 6.15pm onwards. Advance tickets �3.50 for adults, �1.50 for children (�4/�2.50 on the gate) from Godmanchester schools, Crazy Glazy or Bellmans Bakery.

HEMINGFORD GREY

ONE of the region’s biggest bonfires also features a spectacular 20-minute firework display. Money will be raised for village groups and charities.

SAWTRY

SAWTRY will once again be treated to a professional firework display by Cambridge Fireworks with food and drink stalls as well as a bonfire.

HUNTINGDON

A FUNFAIR, refreshments, candyfloss, music and glow-sticks are all available for free in Huntingdon. Collection buckets will be out for funds for the 2012 display.

BLUNTISHAM

FIREWORKS at Bluntisham will be hosted by the 1st EBC Scout Group at Mayhew’s Field, and food is included in the entry price.

EYNESBURY

EYNESBURY Rovers FC’s annual show includes karaoke, bouncy castle and a barbecue as well as a bonfire and fireworks from 6.30pm.

OFFORDS

THE Offords bonfire and fireworks display takes place on Saturday, November 5 on the Millennium Green.

INFORMATION: BBQ with burgers and hot dogs, soup, mulled wine and hot chocolate. Entry �5 adults, �3 under-14s and family tickets �12.
