A whole host of fun has been lined up for families to enjoy over the Easter weekend - continue reading to find out what’s on.

The Riverside Park, St Neots is the venue for a charity Bunny Run in aid of Help for Heroes and will be a chance for families to complete an energetic Easter egg treasure hunt with a twist.

There will be a military theme to the search for eggs, with command tasks to complete along the way.

Children will each receive an egg and a sticker for completing the run and there will be certificates for the whole family.

A mini treasure hunt is planned for children under four and there will be a raffle throughout the day, which has been organised by physical fitness firm Pro Fit.

INFORMATION: The bunny run will be held in the park from 11.30am on Sunday (April 20). Entry is £3 for adults, £1.50 for children or £7 for a family (two adults and two children).

The Mayor of Huntingdon’s three-day Easter fundraising family extravaganza kicks off on Saturday (April 19).

Councillor Bill Hensley and his team are planning to bring music, sport, and family fun to Jubilee Park, Kings Ripton Road, Huntingdon.

A concert featuring The Tribute Show, with acts including Robbie Williams, Kylie, Madness, Olly Murs and Meat Loaf, will start proceedings on Saturday night.

On Sunday (April 20), festivities continue with a family fun day.

The event concludes with a race across Lord de Ramsey’s estate on the Monday.

The Baby James Starlight Trust is holding an Easter-themed fundraiser at Hinchingbrooke Country Park from 10.30am-2.30pm on Easter Monday (April 21).

James Dowers was just 19 months old when he died of an undiagnosed condition in 2012 and his parents, Emma and Chris, of Dunnock Way, St Ives, founded the trust to help others going through similar.

Attractions at the fun day will include a fancy dress competition for children, a bouncy castle, an Easter egg hunt, egg and spoon races and a raffle, with prizes including a giant cuddly giraffe.

End your Good Friday with some rock and roll at the Dolphin Hotel in St Ives. John Wheeler of rock and bluegrass group Hayseed Dixie will treat the audience to his new material without the band by his side on April 18. They have captured the music industry’s attention with both their covers and original compositions since they first started performing their renditions of songs by legendary rockers AC/DC in 2000. Since then, they have sold more than 6,000 records and given over 1,000 live performances in 31 countries.

Also joining him on the night will be singer and guitarist Lexie Green, whose career highlights include performing at venues such as Jools Holland’s The Jamhouse and Brighton Ballroom.

Families can stop by St Neots museum for some Easter-inspired fun. Until Thursday (April 17), workshops will be held where children can decorate an egg and make an Easter pop-up card.

Antiques enthusiasts can hunt for future heirlooms at the Burgess Hall, St Ives. On Sunday and Monday (April 20 and 21), ceramics, jewellery, furniture, silver and much more will be on display for guests to browse.
