A group of five or six men ripped an 81-year-olds necklace from her throat after stealing cash from the victims home in Eynesbury on January 3. The following day two men pushed their way in to a 71-year-olds house in Huntingdon. Now police want anyone with information to come forward. Detective Sergeant Sasha Motley said: These cowardly attacks have set out to target vulnerable adults and have left the victims shaken, fearing for their safety. We are currently keeping an open mind as to whether the two offences are linked. Police said the first incident happened in Ridgeway at about 6.30pm when a group of five or six men forced their way in to the womans house after claiming to be from the council. They stole cash and then pulled the victims necklace off as they left the property. The second incident happened in The Avenue at about 3pm the following day. Police said the two men told the homeowner they were from the council before pushing past him and searching his home.
