A woman has come forward following a British Transport Police (BTP) public appeal for information into an incident at Waterbeach level crossing.
The woman, who contacted BTP yesterday (Thursday, 3 October), will be speaking to officers on a voluntary basis next week.
It comes after BTP released CCTV footage of a cyclist who came inches from death after taking a chance at the junction, while the barrier was down and warning lights were on.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “I’d like to thank the public and local community, as well as the media, for all their help and assistance in this investigation.
“I hope the shocking CCTV serves as a stark warning not to misuse level crossings.”
