Nigel Farage said he was pleased to see the amount of support for UKIP he saw in Huntingdonshire as he visited yesterday (Wednesday).
The party leader came through the district on his “Common Sense Tour” that saw him visit Peterborough, Corby and Kettering before heading to Huntingdon, St Ives and Ramsey.
Later on, Mr Farage talked in front of a packed hall in Holt, Norwich.
In St Ives, Mr Farage told The Hunts Post: “This is part of the country we have already had great success and we are fighting a big campaign, unlike the other parties who rely on sound bites.
“I don’t see why we cannot achieve further success in three weeks’ time in the county council elections.”
