Reiki healers travelled to Woodwalton to bless land where a “wood henge” will be built.
Artist Derek Massey and Stephen Parsley plan to build Huntingdonshire’s answer to Stonehenge on Mr Parsley’s land at Red House Farm, close to the site earmarked for Mr Massey’s statue of Louis Smith.
The area was healed and blessed on Saturday (February 22) by 40 Reiki healers.
Mr Massey said: “They saw the article in the paper and asked to come. It was impressive. They held a ceremony in Steve’s office then went out to ‘cleanse’ the land.”
He hoped the first bog oaks would be installed next month and the site completed by the summer solstice on June 21.
