Burglars targeted two homes in St Neots, stealing valuables and thousands of pounds in cash.
Between 11am and 4pm on Saturday (May 24), a property on Great North Road was broken into. The rear patio doors were smashed and £2,500 in cash, a ceremonial sword and various items of jewellery were stolen.
During the same time frame in Hogsden Leys, burglars entered a house via an unlocked patio door. Items stolen included a 0.81 carat pear-shaped diamond wedding ring, a Raymond Weil diamond ladies’ watch, a platinum necklace, a green jade ring with silver band, and approximately 2000 Chinese Renminbi.
