A YOUNG woman was taken to hospital after a crash with a skip lorry at the Black Cat roundabout, near St Neots, at around 2pm today (Tuesday).
The 25-year-old woman was cut free from a silver Peugeot 206 by firefighters.
She was taken to Bedford General Hospital and is believed to have suffered an injury to her arm. Another woman, also travelling in the car, was able to get out.
The roundabout was partially blocked and the A421 westbound carriageway was closed but both were reopened by 3.25pm.
Traffic on the A1 northbound carriageway is still slow, but moving, with delays of around 30 minutes.
