TWO people were taken to hospital after a five-vehicle crash on the A14 this morning (Tuesday).

The crash involved an articulated lorry and four other vehicles, and happened on the westbound carriageway near Godmanchester at about 8am.

Two casualties, including a man in his 40s, were taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon by the ambulance service.

They were both complaining of neck pain, but their injuries were not believed to be serious.

One lane westbound was closed, causing tailbacks and delays for traffic, but the scene was cleared and the lane reopened at 8.55am.
