Rush-hour motorists should expect delays on the A14 after an accident in which a car left the road.
The silver Mercedes, which was the only car involved, entered a ditch on the eastbound carriageway at Junction 26 for St Ives at just after 3pm. The road has now been cleared but traffic remains back to Junction 23 for Spittals Interchange.
A police spokesman said that no one was hurt in the accident. She added that there was also a “minor prang” at the Bar Hill junction on the westbound carriageway at about the same time, which is contributing to traffic problems.
