TWO women escaped a car crash in Ramsey Mereside with no serious injuries.
The women, in their 20s, suffered whiplash when their Vauxhall Corsa left Oilmills Road into a ditch, near Ramsey Mereside, just after midday today.
Firefighters stabilised the car that was in a “precarious position” and helped the two women out of the car.
Magpas Helimedix Dr Ali Tompkins and paramedic Dave Mee treated the two women for whiplash but found no other injuries. Dr Tompkins said: “We are happy that these two people will make a full recovery”.
Fire crews from Ramsey, Chatteris, and Huntingdon returned to base by 1.25pm.
