About 150 people have signed up to take part in The Hunts Post’s charity bike ride Two Wheels for Woodlands.

There are still three months until cyclists will take to Huntingdonshire’s most scenic roads on June 29 in support of the Woodlands Centre’s £800,000 expansion project.

So far, 68 people have signed up to take on the 100-mile route around the historic county starting and finishing at Alonconbury Weald, more than 50 cyclists are set to cycle 60 miles and 26 people will ride 30 miles.

There will also be a family ride of either seven miles on a short road circuit and a second ride that is traffic free.

St Ives property specialists Move with Us is the main sponsor of the ride and will reveal the name of the longest route. Circle Health, which runs Hinchingbrooke Hospital, and the Luminus Group have both signed up to be silver sponsors.
