FIREFIGHTERS extinguished two vehicle fires in quick succession on Saturday (March 2).
The first broke out in a car on the B1040 near St Ives at 12.26pm. Firefighters put out the fire by 1.07pm.
Fire crews from Huntingdon were sent to a campervan on fire on the A1198 at Godmanchester at 2.27pm. About 15 minutes later the crews called for back up for water, as there were gas cylinders in the campervan.
The cause of fire was accidental and the crews were back at base by 4.07pm.
