Two people had to be released from the wreckage of their vehicles in separate incidents on Huntingdonshire’s roads.

The first accident happened just before 2pm on Friday when firefighters from Huntingdon, Papworth and Cambridge were called out to a collision on the A114, near Fenstanton, involving three vehicles.

They released one female casualty using specialist equipment and left her in the care of paramedics.

In the early hours of Saturday, two crews from St Neots, attended a collision on the B645, near Staughton Highway, where they found a car on its roof.

They released one person from the vehicle in the incident which happened at about 3am.
