At the meeting on June 27, there were 39 members present. The minutes were read and there were two birthdays.
Members were treated to an informative tale by Josie and Marlene who had brought along a range of patchwork - from bedspreads to small boxes and wall hangings.
Josie has been making these items for seven years and Marlene for five.
The standard of work was excellent and both were congratulated for it. There was a well-deserved round of applause to finish.
The raffle made £21.20. Winners were Ena, Freda, Joyce K, Evelyn, Pam, Marlene, Amy and Phyl.
