A man accused with sending a letter to cause distress to the Huntingdon mayor will stand trial in March.
Clifford Dragon, 63, of Stocking Drove, Chatteris, denies sending a letter to Fenland District Council between September 1 and 14 last year containing false information with the intention of causing anxiety or stress to Councillor Bill Hensley.
No new charges were brought against Mr Dragon when he appeared before Huntingdon magistrates on Thursday (January 23). A trial date was set at the Huntingdon court for March 26.
Mr Dragon was released on conditional bail and is permitted from contacting Cllr Hensley or visiting an address in Warboys.
