A lorry carrying large bales of hay has overturned on a roundabout near Alconbury Weald and blocked the road.
The back section of the vehicle, known as a draw-bar trailer, toppled over in Ermine Street at about 12.30pm today (Thursday).
Police were called to direct traffic after the 24 bales were spilled at the turning to Alconbury Hill, Alconbury Weston, Monks Wood and Upton, which also leads to the freight entrance for Alconbury Weald.
A spokesman said recovery was in hand.
