Thieves stole more than £50,000 worth of jewellery in a raid on a home in St Ives.
Police are appealing for help in tracing a number of valuable items which were stolen from a home in Sheepfold, which was broken into between about 10.30am on Thursday, September 17, and 3pm on Saturday, September 19.
The offenders smashed a patio door to gain entry to the house where a small haul of high-value items were stolen, some of which were in a safe.
The stolen items include an £8,000 Omega Seamaster watch, a £7,000 square diamond ring and a £4,000 pearl and diamond ring.
Other items stolen include a matching emerald earrings and necklace set, an 18 carat gold yellow diamond ring with a cluster of diamonds, an 18 carat gold opal ring, a rose gold diamond ring with a pink pearl and £100 in cash.
DC Jo Grant said: “The victim is devastated by the loss of these items, many of which were gifts from her late husband.
“If anyone has any information as to where the items may be or have been offered them for sale, please get in touch.”
