The event started on June 4 with the Chrono the worlds largest time trial with some 8,000 bikers before the Gran Fondo on June 5 with 800 participants. The cycling festival closed roads across the county, and saw riders of all abilities take part. People cheered on the cyclists at points in places like Pondersbridge and Alconbury Weston, but it was Yaxley where the biggest crowds gathered. The results of each race are still being calculated, but the Gran Fondo finish straight was a fast one as riders were accompanied by a tail wind. Altogether, riders covered 16.5 miles for the Chrono event, and 80.2 miles for the Gran Fondo.
