Two televisions, gold jewellery and cash were stolen during a break-in at a home in St Neots.

A home in Wordsworth Avenue, Eaton Ford was targeted by thieves over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Police say a security light at the back of the property was disabled before a window was forced open.

Among the items stolen was a 55-inch curved-screen TV and a 40-inch TV, as well as the jewellery and money.

PC Jo Grant said: “Please remain vigilant if leaving your property for more than a day and consider lighting timers or having a neighbour or relative drop round to open and shut the curtains and turn lights on and off.”
