THIEVES have stolen a sentimental medal from a house in Perry, St Neots.
The Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) medal was stolen along with military service medals between 7pm on Friday, November 4 and 1pm on Wednesday, November 9 while the occupants were on holiday.
The MBE was in a blue box with MBE and MILY engraved on it.
DC Andy MacDonald, investigating said: “We would like to hear from anyone who believes they may have seen the MBE or medals since the burglary took place.
“It is of significant value and it’s possible the offenders may try to sell it.
“We would urge anyone with information to come forward.”
