THIEVES have stolen a ‘significant’ amount of cash from Wood Green Animal Shelter.
A man entered the restaurant with a child at about 4pm last Friday (June 3).
It is believed the pair then distracted the cashier who later found a significant amount of money missing from the till.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have information.
A police spokesman said: “Wood Green is a charitable organisation which relies on takings from its shop and restaurant, to steal from them is a particularly low act.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who has any information about this incident.”
