THIEVES ram-raided a supermarket with a stolen digger and ripped two cash machines off the wall.
The attack took place at Tesco on Barford Road, St Neots in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Over the past five months four similar incidents have taken place across Cambridgeshire and police say a “sophisticated operation” has been launched to catch the culprits.
The amount of money stolen is not yet known, but police are appealing for anyone who witnessed anything suspicious to contact them on 101.
