A TEENAGER is in a serious but stable condition after being thrown from his car in a road accident yesterday (Sunday).

The 18-year-old man suffered serious injuries in the incident, which happened when the Vauxhall Astra in which he was a passenger left the B1043 Holme Road at 12.50am on Sunday morning.

He was taken to Peterborough City Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The driver, a 22-year-old man, and two other passengers, girls aged 17 and 18, were taken to hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

The Astra had been travelling towards Sawtry.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision.

PC Steve Edwards, investigating, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle prior to the incident."
