A TEENAGER was punched in the face in an assault in Sawtry on Sunday (April 17).
The assault happened on Louthe Way at 11.45am, as the 19-year-old was walking and was approached by a man who asked his name.
The offender then punched the victim in the face, inflicting slight injuries, and walked off towards The Bell public house.
The man is described as white, between 20 and 25, around 6ft tall, with short brown hair and a medium build. He was wearing a blue and white striped top and blue jeans.
PC Thomas Corbett, investigating, said: “This was an unprovoked assault on a young man and I would like to hear from anyone who believes they may know the man responsible.”
