A TEENAGE girl was rushed to hospital last night (Thursday) after being hit by a car in St Ives.
The teenager suffered serious but not life threatening injuries in the incident near the Shell garage in Houghton Road, close to the Ramsey Road/St Audrey Lane junction at 5.25pm.
Magpas Helimedix doctor Rob Major and paramedic Jo Lambert gave the girl strong pain relief and sedated her before accompanying her to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, where she arrived in a stable and alert condition.
A Magpas spokesman said her parents are with her.
