A GROUP of teenagers knocked a man unconscious in a violent robbery in Huntingdon. The 27-year-old victim was chased by a group of boys one of whom had a Staffordshire bull terrier in Maple Drive at about 8.30pm on Saturday (April 9). They surrounded him in Sycamore Drive and demanded that he empty his pockets. The boys then punched and kicked him to the floor until he lost consciousness. He needed hospital treatment, and later discovered his mobile phone was missing. Police are appealing for information from anyone with information about the incident. One of the offenders is described as white, about 17 years old, skinny, 5ft 6in, with shaved blond hair and was wearing black trainers, dark trousers and a t-shirt. Detective Constable Karin Peters, investigating, said: This was a nasty robbery which left the victim needing hospital treatment. The boys are likely to be local to the area and I would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who knows who they are.
