St Ives Rugby Club marked 20 years at the Somersham Road ground with a day of celebration on Saturday.
Players and officials also officially opened the extension to the club house which will provide updated facilities for both junior and senior teams.
The club received £100,000 in grant funding from Sport England the RFU to fund the work to the club house, with cash also spent on improving pitch drainage.
St Ives’s second team took on Ely Tigers in front of a packed crowd, losing 71-10.
Craig Cheetham, second team captain, said: “Not only were we honoured to have five of the lads that played in the first game at Somersham Road turning out for the seconds on the day, but we were able to look to the future as well with some of our up and coming youngsters, including one making his full senior debut.”
In the evening, players and guests were treated to a speech from former British Lions star John Bentley.
