The Extreme Stunt Show is appealing for a new place to perform its show in the Huntingdon area after a last-minute cancellation left it without a venue for Sunday (August 3).

The stunt-packed event was set to perform at Huntingdon Football Club’s Jubilee Park but there were complications and the agreement fell through.

The show’s organisers are looking to rent any available land to avoid cancelling the performance, which includes monster trucks, motocross riders and BMX stunts.

Company director Anthony Anderson said: “This is devastating. We hate letting people down, particularly the local children who look forward for weeks to go to the stunt show.”

He added: “To try and proportion blame is no good at the moment. We need to try and find an alternative venue and quick. The show must go on.”

The Extreme Stunt Show is expecting large crowds for the Huntingdon performance and is urging anyone with a field or piece of land in the area to contact the company.
