Eileen Kidds was treated to a performance by the Upwood Ukuleles as she celebrated her 100th birthday.
The centenarian marked her big day in style by having a birthday lunch with her family, followed by a surprise visit from the Upwood Ukuleles, who played happy birthday to her.
The performance took place on April 18 at the Manor House, in Upwood.
It wasn’t the first birthday the 100-year-old spent in style; for her 80th birthday family members organised for her to ride on Harley Davison, as it had been a life long dream.
Mrs Kidds, who lived in London and moved to Derbyshire after the war, was also presented with flowers by the mayor of Ramsey, Councillor Doug McIlwain to mark the milestone.
